Polaron Ontario Partnership

Nation Building Alliance and Polaron Join Forces to Power Stronger Communities

Advanced solar and battery storage meet Indigenous-led development, expanding NBA’s ability to bring integrated clean energy solutions to housing and community infrastructure in Ontario.

Clean energy and stronger communities

NBA joins forces with Polaron, a leading Canadian solar and battery storage provider, to bring integrated clean energy solutions to housing and community development in Ontario.

Partnership announcement

Nation Building Alliance Inc. (NBA) is pleased to announce a partnership with Polaron Energy Corp., a leading Canadian provider of residential solar and battery storage solutions, bringing its technology and delivery expertise into NBA’s growing network of project partners. The partnership expands NBA’s ability to connect Indigenous communities, developers and project owners with high-performance solar equipment, intelligent battery storage and the expertise to bring these systems to life. It builds on a shared ambition: communities with cleaner power, greater energy resilience and stronger foundations for long-term growth.

Better energy. Stronger communities.

Housing and infrastructure decisions shape a community for decades. By bringing energy expertise into project development, NBA can help partners plan for buildings that generate clean power, use it more effectively and are better prepared for interruptions in grid supply. With Polaron, that capability extends from high-efficiency solar panels and inverters to battery systems, engineering, installation and ongoing support. Bringing these elements together creates a more complete energy offering for modular housing, community facilities and other development projects. Solar generation and battery storage can help projects manage electricity costs, retain more of the power they produce and add backup capacity. The partnership gives NBA a direct pathway to the technology and technical teams needed to explore these benefits from the earliest stages of planning.

Canadian experience behind the opportunity

Polaron is a leading Canadian provider of residential solar and battery storage solutions, with experience that also spans commercial projects. Founded in 2013, the company reports more than 14,000 residential and commercial solar installations across Canada, with services available in six provinces. Its work covers system design, installation and ongoing maintenance, bringing a strong national track record to the partnership. Polaron also brings access to established equipment manufacturers and its own Pion Power battery storage division, combining product capability with the experience of delivering energy systems in Canadian conditions. More complete solutions. More community opportunity.

For NBA, the partnership strengthens a central promise to its network: bringing the right partners, equipment and expertise together around community priorities. It opens new pathways to connect clean energy with Indigenous participation, housing delivery and local economic development. NBA and Polaron will work together to identify Ontario projects where that combination can make a difference, including housing, community facilities and public-sector opportunities. The aim is to turn shared ambition into well-designed solutions that communities can use, maintain and benefit from over the long term. As NBA continues to grow its partner network, Polaron adds an important new capability: helping the communities we work with build for a future that is cleaner, more resilient and better connected to opportunity.
