NBA connects communities, contractors, project owners, suppliers, professional teams, capital pathways, and coordinated capacity around disaster recovery and reconstruction, with wildfire recovery as a current priority.

Four ways to enter the recovery process

First Nations can bring a recovery need; Indigenous contractors can bring an existing or prospective contract; project owners can bring a defined project; suppliers and delivery partners can bring qualified capacity.

Northern Ready Homes

Standard programme pricing for complete factory-supplied homes is CAD $398 per square foot for projects of at least 12 substantially similar homes, each with at least 900 square feet of gross floor area. The minimum programme area is 10,800 square feet. Volume pricing is available for projects of 40 or more homes through a separate written quote. Smaller orders, custom layouts and project-specific changes also require a separate written quote. The package includes the high-performance building shell, fixed finishes, cabinetry, countertops, plumbing fixtures, specified heating equipment, HRV and electrical distribution. Appliances and loose furniture are excluded. Video-based assembly training is included; delivery, on-site project management and full-service installation are available by separate quote.

Northern performance

The proposed building system includes R-40 effective walls, an R-70 effective roof, an R-40 effective floor, triple-glazed windows, a 1.5 ACH50 airtightness design target, heat-recovery ventilation, FireSmart exterior detailing and an enclosed winter entry.
